Kingdomino, a game with a feudal atmosphere

In Kingdomino, you play the role of a Lord in search of land to expand his Kingdom. You will need to explore all the plots in order to select those that will best suit your estate. Wheat fields, lakes, mines, meadows or forests, the possibilities are endless. But beware, not all these areas are equal. Some will be fiercely contested. Then you will have to be cunning and fierce. The splendour of your Kingdom depends on it.

Kingdomino, a game as simple as it is effective

Kingdomino is a domino game whose difficulty adapts to the level of the players. The goal of the game is simple: you must build a kingdom of 5 squares by 5 around your castle while earning as many points as possible. Not all tiles have the same value. To earn you points, they must include a crown. Then combine the different zones to form a domain with a high value. Select your tiles carefully and cool the enthusiasm of the other Lords!

Kingdomino, a domino game with an original mechanic

The game takes up the principle of dominoes but integrates a new draft system. 3 numbered tiles are placed in the center of the table in ascending order. Once placed, they are turned over, revealing the different landscapes they contain. The first player chooses the tile he is interested in and places his meeple on it. Once all players have selected their dominoes, three more tiles are placed on the table using the same mechanism. This time, the player who had chosen the lowest tile will play first. He will therefore have the possibility to choose, if he wishes, the tile that has the highest value.
This finely thought-out mechanism is what makes the game all the more interesting. It will be necessary to put in place a strategy to get your hands on the most interesting tiles and especially to choose the right moment to play first.
