The Marvel universe comes to your table!
Legendary: Marvel is a Deck-Building game that takes place, as its name suggests, in the Marvel Comics universe. Join forces to fight the Super-Villains! Do you have what it takes to defeat them all? The future of the planet is in your hands. Play Legendary to see what the cards have in store for you.
How to play ?
To set up the game, players:
choose Hero cards from the 15 heroes available in the game (Spider-man, Hulk, Cyclops, Wolverine, etc.).
shuffle the selected Hero cards.
then choose a villain (Magneto, Loki, Dr. Doom, etc.) and stack that villain's attack cards underneath.
modify the villain's deck of cards as needed based on that villain's particular scheme.
Progress of a game
During the game, players:
will recruit powerful hero cards to add to their deck in order to build a more powerful deck. Players must strengthen both their recruitment powers (to enlist more heroes) and their combat abilities (to fight off the bad guys who keep popping up to cause trouble).
will recruit heroes from a series of six cards, with empty slots to fill as needed.
At the start of a player's turn, they reveal a villain and add them to the villain row. The latter is made up of a limited number of boxes. If the row is complete, the first villain in the row escapes. He will then cause trouble for the heroes.
Some Villain cards have immediate effects on the game when they first appear, such as kidnapping an innocent bystander. The villain deck also contains Masterstroke cards, which, when presented, provide bonus actions for villains.

When players fight and defeat the bad guys, they collect these cards, which are worth points at the end of the game. Players can also fight the mastermind. If a player has enough combat power, he claims one of the attack cards under the brain, which has a special effect on the game.
Game over
If all the brain cards are claimed, the game ends and players count their points to see who won. But if the mastermind completes his plan, for example by scaring away a certain number of villains or inflicting a certain number of wounds on the heroes, the players all lose.
