Forest Shuffle - Dartmoor (English)

The gameplay mechanics remain unchanged: you collect two cards (beautifully illustrated, by the way) or play one card in your heathland landscape. Players compete to gather the most valuable trees, shrubs, and terrain cards—to attract species, thus creating an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna.

A new type of card comes into play with terrain cards: this allows for a variety of terrain cards (unlike trees and shrubs) that are played horizontally.

Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor introduces several changes:

• A new card type is introduced: Terrain cards, adding variety.

• Terrain cards (unlike Trees and Shrubs) are played horizontally. They clearly serve as a means of subsistence or food source for a different species type than Trees or Shrubs.

• New species with unique abilities and bonus actions.

• Caves come with asymmetrical starting conditions and are drawn at the beginning.

• Tree symbols are reduced to 6 (from 8) to make activating bonuses easier.
