With careful planning and a little luck, you'll gain the most notoriety and become the best new artist of the year.

Rock Hard: 1977 is played in up to nine rounds, each representing a typical day in a month of 1977, from April to December. You win the game by accumulating the most notoriety. How? By increasing your reputation, your talents, and your songs; by earning production, performance, and publicity bonuses; by signing record deals and collecting royalties; by playing concerts; and by frequenting the hottest spots.
