Hot Streak (French) [PREORDER]

At the start of the game, prepare the race card deck with one card for each mascot and a random number of cards depending on the number of players. Reveal these cards to all players, then draw a betting slip from the displayed slips, and then, in reverse order, draw a second bet. For each bet, you can play it safe, or risk it, which could pay out more, or lose you money. After placing your bet, each player secretly adds one of three cards from their hand to the race card deck.

Shuffle the deck, burn three cards, and then reveal the remaining cards one by one, moving the mascots along the track. They can sometimes veer off the track and knock over another racer, sometimes turn around, sometimes all move at once, and sometimes simply move backward! If a racer goes off the track or is about to be knocked over after already falling, they are disqualified. If necessary, shuffle all the cards in the deck, burn three more cards, and continue the race until all four podium positions are filled. Bets are paid out based on these results.

For races 2 and 3, first deal each player one card at random, then place bets again, and then ask each player to contribute one card from their hand to the game. After race 3, everyone counts their money.
