Raiders of the North Sea is set during the Golden Age of the Vikings. Players embody Viking warriors who will seek to impress the Jarl, the Clan Chief, by leading the most daring raids. Gather a crew and supplies to travel across the seas to plunder gold, iron and cattle. Only battles will bring you glory, even if for that you will have to entrust your soul to the Valkyries...
Gather your warriors, the season of looting is on!
The object of the game is to impress the Jarl by having the most Victory Points at the end of the game. These PV are obtained:
by launching Raids on Objectives,
by collecting Loot
by making Offerings to the Jarl.
How players use their loot is critical to their success.

The game ends as soon as there is only one possible Raid left on the Fortresses, or when all the Valkyries are removed, or finally when all the Offerings have been made.
