Kanagawa is a strategic and poetic card game in which you have to make your most beautiful print. Expand your workshop to immortalize the finest topics and become the most prestigious student of the Hokusai painter.

Honor the painter Hokusai!
In 1840 in Kanagawa, in the great bay of Tokyo, the master Hokusai decided to open a school of painting to share his art with his disciples. You are one of them, and you want more than anything to prove yourself worthy of the old “drawing madman”.

Kanagawa is a strategic and poetic card game in which you must make your best print. Develop your Workshop to immortalize the most beautiful subjects over the seasons and become the most prestigious student of the painter Hokusai.

Will you immortalize your art by focusing your collection on fauna, flora, seasons, architecture or even people? Take the time to find Inspiration, but make sure other artists don't steal your ideas!

Course of a game
The simple and original game mechanics are as follows: Facing you are as many Print cards as there are players, face up or face down.

Each in turn, you can decide to take one or pass hoping to get better cards later.

When you take one or more cards, you can choose which way you place them: in the direction of the Print to add them to your board if your Inspirations allow it, or in the direction of the Inspiration to place it in your workshop and thus acquire this new Inspiration.

The end of the game
The game ends in one of two situations:

The draw pile is empty
One or more players have at least 11 cards in their Print
