Bardwood Grove is a tableau building Eurogame in which each player takes on the role of a whimsical bard looking to make a name for themselves. In this game, players will be able to venture beyond the newly opened borders and reach the legendary melodious city of Bardwood Grove, located in the Five Kingdoms (Merchants' Bay, Rise to Nobility, Cavern Tavvern...) and more precisely in the heart of the Halfling Kingdom. Here, Bardwood trees make excellent instruments, and the natural crystal formations have unique sonic properties.

As a bard, you manage a unique tempo dial mechanic to create songs. Each turn, you draw two cards and must decide which to discard to gain instant benefits, and which to add to your song. Each bard is unique and starts with their own deck and instrument, both matching their style. As a bard, such as the Banjo Duelist, Bongo Bopper, or Elf Harper, players will learn new bardic skills, tell stories, perform on stage, and calm the creatures that invade Bardwood Grove.
